THE LUXURY OF FAILURE by Jonathan Marshall
A talk on art & aesthetics on the occasion of Graeme Rowe’s exhibition.
Dr Jonathan W. Marshall is a research fellow at the Western Australian
Academy of Performing Arts at Edith Cowan University and a practicing
arts critic for the national magazine RealTime Australia. In his presentation,
Dr Marshall will discuss the issues of failure and luxury as they
apply to contemporary and historic arts practice, drawing a link between
these themes and the work of Melbourne painter Graeme Rowe.
