The Boys is a collective portrait of men who have in no way opted for the safety of suburban life or superannuation!!!
The show is about men. The boys. None of them look like businessmen.They look different to your average citizen. They usually have cheap or diy haircuts, ‘whatever’ clothes, and usually ride a bike or catch the tram. They often struggle to make ends meet, but for all that, many of them will leave something behind. But these artists are not the ones that always seem to crop up in the books of the artist in the studio. Maybe it was all a waste of time. But by now it is too late and you never know what history’s judgement will be. |
