Vic Joubert is originally from Cape Town but relocated to Melbourne in 2006 after working in Dubai for almost 10 years. His photography experience dates back to high school days in the 1970’s running the school photographic society. Vic has been actively involved in photography since then - mainly for enjoyment, leading to a second career as a photographer while living in the Middle East to offer a creative alternative to the engineering day job.

Vic currently shoots both film and digital, and his main interest is 'people photography' from location and studio portraiture to following the local music scene, photographing local bands and musicians, particularly newer lesser-known artists. Largely self-taught as a photographer, Vic has also studied through the New York Institute of Photography while in Dubai and currently works from a studio in Balwyn.
