My abstract paintings exhibit a freedom of expression typical of an artist with minimal formal training. They are heavily influenced by the colours of India, where I have travelled extensively. The themes of my paintings reflect Hindu-Buddhist teachings such as unity-in-diversity, interdependence, impermanence and duality. I have tried to depict energy as movement that is fluid, ever-changing and vibrant.
